Overcast

Conditions

Packed powder, machine groomed snow on main runs, varied cover off piste.

Overall

A weekend trip to Salt Lake sneaked in between two weeks of business.

The snow conditions at Snowbird were pretty good, although the locals were complaining that the snowpack was at the state that it usually is around Thanksgiving, so about three weeks later than usual.

Skiing the groomed runs in the Gad Valley and then down Peruvian Gulch from the tram, conditions seemed perfectly acceptable, but looking at some of the steeper chutes, there were clearly bare patches.
